This Easy Homemade Poke Bowl is a HIT if you like raw fish. It's super flavorful, customizable, filling, and comes together quickly. Plus, you can order takeout sashimi and rice to simplify things that much more!
6-7 slices sushi grade fish (or 1 sashimi app to-go)***
1 cup sushi rice (or a side of sushi rice to-go)
1-2 Tbsp mayo (I used kewpie, best foods is a close second)
1-2 Tbsp sriracha
3-4 Tbsp soy sauce
1-2 Tbsp eel sauce
1/2 english cucumber - sliced in to quarters
1/2 jalapeno - sliced into halves
1/2 avocado - diced
Soy, ginger, wasabi - for serving
**What to order if you get your fish from a sushi joint: sashimi appetizer, with a side of sushi rice and eel sauce. (make sure they give you soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger!) One order (doctored up with veggies etc) will feed 2 people (unless one of you is a starvin' Marvin...)
