Creamy hemp seed dressing is a healthy vegan dressing that is similar to ranch dressing. It's creamy, nutty, and a little cheesy from the nutritional yeast - making it the perfect sauce to drizzle over many things!
Nutrient dense hemp seeds are used in lieu of milk to create this creamy hemp seed dressing. I love how earthy, delicious, and nutritious this recipe is.
Hemp seeds are what make this dressing creamy. They are full of protein, healthy fats (omega 3 & 6), and have anti-inflammatory properties, so you can feel good about drenching whatever your heart desires with this dressing!
Making this dressing is super easy, just toss water, hemp seeds, spices, nutritional yeast and chia seeds into a high speed blender, pulse, and your done! The chia seeds help to thicken everything up so the dressing is not super runny. Even better, they have many of the same nutrient benefits as hemp seeds!
This has quickly become a staple item in my house, and it keeps for about a week in the fridge. It goes well drizzled on my Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos, salads, buddha bowls, roasted veggies, dips for tempeh or meat. If you add dill/parsley it'll bring out more of an herby ranch flavor.
